For a crossing river project using a HDD (Horizontal Directional Drilling) crossing an possible active fault, a campaign of Seismic refraction and surface wave (onshore and offshore) has been conducted.
The seismic refraction has been masked by the presence of biogenic gas in the upper layer of sediment in the river.
Depth investigation between 30 and 50 meters.
About 5 km of measurements has been acquired (onshore and aquatic)
